...WHHHAAAT HAPPENED

Excuse the lack of presence folks, i know i've neglected to post on anything in the past month and flagged on several dates and first off for those of you who started to follow me just know it's fo the best, the post's are just going to start coming a lot more frequently. That's my promise to ya'll, in the words of great rapper Jay-Z "IM SARRRY!"

So Gasparilla,  getting a new position, moving up in the world...

shit's awesome.
Got a really good companion as well...finally caved and got an animal(blue tabie named Beau which happens to be french, for those of you who ne parle francias..) I never realized how attached you can become to a person...but then if you make that person a mute...that only weighs 4 pounds and loves bouncing around keeping you busy, well...it's a no brainer. Now might be the time for anyone to comment who actually reads with any recommendations for there animals.

This is the first pic with her at the Humane Society..Adopt, think twice before you take the initiative to find some inbred "purebred" and pick up a shelter animal that will love you and appreciate the care they receive after a so far traumatic life. Good to have you home Beau.
I havent had her a long time but just so far, nothing broken, never had to do a single thing to train her or get her acclimated to my apartment, 1000 percent the best purchase of my life(not in anyway fabricated, the whole truth.)

And something else i'm beside myself about. Never have had the chance to work on a mac at home...never, true story and for anyone that knows me i'm sure that's a jaw dropper because they know what i do for a living and they pretty much are my living.  after a long anticipated two years i finally have the brand new 27in. iMac with the GTX 660 and 1 TB of space for me to do whatever i want. COMING SOON: Akai Drum machine and some other MIDI(musical instrument digital interfaces) because a nigga already got LOGIC PRO...shit is crazy and so far really user friendly i was able to make a shortcut for setting up the drum machine on my dock and have been toying with looped beats, but still have ALOT TO learn. For all you FL studio'ers out there give me some feedback in the next 3-4 weeks i'm going to have some beats hopefully accessible through Youtube and may/may not make a Sound cloud(it's completely for fun and betterment at work with training.) but i've always been a huge fan of music, just not really enough to pursue a career, but who knows.

COxCO: Sleepin' on em

As We Proceed
Guess who's bizzack nigggggaaaa(those of you who haven't listened to Fabs new mixtape won't enjoy that, but here's a link so you can..eventually).
HNHH.com
Sorry for gettin' REAL sleepy and goin' Manny Pacquio on everybody.Sorry senator, atleast you can still make commercials for hennessey, shit maybe plies will get on your team or somethin'. My Favorite part about tampa is there is alot of culture despite what some people may consider it there WAS at one time a big influence of spanish and italian culture in it's beginnings when The University of Tampa was the Florida Hotel. (you can search the archives for more info on that. Anyway, as far as the festival is concerned i've only been about 4-5 times from what i can remember. Few things to remember.
Parking should be impossible by about 1-1:30 So here's a little map

May need to blow that up a little but that's basically the route for the main parade. For those of you first comers to Gasparilla, this Pirate filled, Bead filled, and yes Booze filled day of events and hospitality is a tradition in honor of the late great Jose Gaspar who is known to have found many islands and regions around Florida. Most of the action takes place near Curtis Hixon park and the downtown area. Bayshore Blvd(also the longest sidewalk in North America) is host to a major leg of the parades course as well. Hope to see you there
Class has me busy so this weeks short and my next post im going to work in some cool little adjustments, but this weekend i'll be too hammered to see my keyboard or even try to operate a computer. thank god for pirates.
Ending thoughts: One man may have the key to success, but that does not always mean he posses the character to maintain it.
Links below and for any questions in regards to anything technical/ blog suggestions e-mail me...my email is in the first blog(yes you have to go back in look, and read my first post if you haven't already.)
I'm going to do my next post back on the topic of street wear, send in some brand names maybe i'll talk about em.
until next time.

COxCO: Switching Gears

Switching gears.
Not to leave some of you who were zoned in on street wear and the fashion community in the dark, but it's time to switch gears to another topic and something that takes up a great part of my life and it's road so far(which has been pretty fuckin' bumpy). i know, you're thinking "this kids got ADD or something WTF i love clothes,"....chill the fuck out in the meantime and check out my friend who is promoting a really great cause that's profit benefits a bunch of different foundations(unlike TOM who gives shoes to Africa  but secretly makes a shit ton and donates no profit...thanks for the sneaks, they're still starving.) Anyway, the links below, the man(who i'm sure doesn't mind being revealed) is Jon berg, great company..great cause.
numberforthecause.com
And the guy knows what he's doing. great website and a great mind for creativity, go get a tee and support a cause!
Any who, Music, Not one day can i go through (seldom) without having something stuck/get stuck in my head. When i was younger i developed a love early for Hip-hop(thuggin' at a young age so to speak) and really got engulfed in that. Dr. Dre Chronic album along with more Eminem than i can list in a manageable to-read post. Today, i listen to anything that's as far away from mainstream as possible(which depends on what spotlight/how you perceive mainstream). I haven't turned on my radio in 4/5 months and lost hope in a radio god long long ago (Ha Ha).  Whilst being in college for the past three years and seeing the development of hip hop and all other genres I've changed my perception of music time and time again. EDM is a culture in itself. composed of people who share the experience at a lifetime at some of the most premiere festivals across the nation. Much like Hip Hop it hit its peak(more in recent years some would debate that statement). Some even internationally are taking debate to it hitting its peak in the past 20 years...right now, in 2013. Whatever the case i have the privilege of knowing some pretty fucking cool people with unparalleled skill in EDM..(I know Rappers, that'll be another post). These guys all come From the Sunshine State and post extremely different styles and backgrounds. My first showcase- A Really good hometown friend, Kyle Rich. First of the man already has his Degree, from well renowned Full Sail University(so he already one ups the majority of these guys preforming). The kid knows what he's doing, Dubstep that mixes a hip hop influence and dirty/insatiable beat, once you hear some you have to hear more. He preforms up at Firestone Live for anybody in O-town that wants to see some real genuine made from scratch music, he's your man. Here's to getting to listen to some quality sound instead of the shit they pump through your car stereo, cheers
Soundcloud.com(this link will take you to his page)
Soundcloud.com/Goldmob(this one to a collab he's working on, some reeeeal Trapstyle/ genuinely good dubstep)
Another guy i used to have the pleasure with working with, also in the bay also going to school and studying up on the arts has some pretty reputable stuff and he's getting his feet on the ground runnin'. For those who know me know i love creativity and he gives the beat a low-end feel all its own. T-Spang, everyone

Really good kid, hustlin' and stayin' green.
Another one, i actually just realized about 30 minutes ago i had zoned out to while writing this post. Not much music really captivates me. When it does, it sets my mood..it doesn't make me dance around or sing along but more or less really just focus. Lyrically i'll love to cipher any new joint out. But most lyrical music i listen to doesn't really capture me. Mono lakes is the name a gentleman i still have the pleasure of working with, is a divine sound unlike most electronic music. Using nothing more than a drum machine on his last EP, Anthony (Mono Lakes) combines instruments with electronic sound and various samples to make a smooth flowing and captivating tone. various artists i can name songs from, seldom locally...whether its Refresh (with an ironically light refreshing tone light bass) or normality(with the usage of guitar riff and looping certain parts making a fluid sounding piece.)i wish/would elaborate more on all of these guys but many more posts to come. But anyway, here ya go.

Good Music, Good Guys, Enjoy
And anybody out there who has a local talent, Hit me up and I'll do what i can.
Pretty good connections at local venues.
Parting words-Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.-Steve Jobs
Couldn't have said it better. Better to give up everything and experienced what you wanted then be controlled your whole life and get by. but hey, what does this guy know
Company only has 108 billion dollars of revenue generated so far.
Until next time, should be fun waking up in 4 hours.

COxCO: intro.

Episode one
Who this is for and what we're about. So for the longest time i've been considering making one of these and have looked at the influence of several of the most (in my opinion) influential and efficient Ceo's and entrepreneurs. When looking at a simple concept you have to factor into account that a successful product is something that fits a large stigma of interest. The best industry for example, clothing. You have high fashion: now so publicized that ANY one with a brain(even those of you whose are deprived of air and/or that listens to hip hop) now knows what a Gucci belt and jacket costs also knows they are a staple of outer wear for most urban dwelling individuals. Alexander wang, Givenchy, Salvatore Faragamo, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, and so many other brands are now seen more often then others, with a push in European influence in much of music and pop culture now spreading such brands and others more often as previous generations. Bobby Hundreds pushes a brand of what called "street wear". i've always loved unique clothing, expressing ones individual without saying a word. Clothing speaks for itself, and unique designers like bobby have a true talent. I'd HIGHLY suggest checking out his brand if you live anywhere in California or near Los angeles/Fairfax also in fifth ave in new york VISIT THE STORE. The trademark is the hundreds bomb character "adam bomb" which is seen on almost every single shirt. It has grown to become the polo of street wear and is a brand that internationally has brought a following in the urban and extreme sports community.

The photography/imagery in every aspect, layout and simple ingenuity of the website lone draws the buyer in and there is not the true aspect of buying in mind but more of a culture in which, is captured through articles and assorted info throughout the page. really great articles fill the introduction page and you will often find the video revealing a upcoming new underground selection or skate video from Team Pain or straight from the hundreds skate team. and the kids are RAW DOOOE. i grew up watching rising stars like nyjah huston(watched him in his first video Elementality) and kinda fell out of the culture as fast as i fell into it, but for the past few years, I've been a bit obsessed with the culture of streetwear and it's development everywhere, but especially in my city. Another man i have a lot of respect for is Nick Tishay or Nick Diamond, the owner and founder of my personal favorite, diamond supply co. besides taking half of my paycheck consistently, Diamond Supply uses obviously a diamond and its sheer brilliance in different logo designs including realistic pictures and models.

Some Parting words-When in search of meaning and feeling worthless, know we are all in search of our true meaning, sometimes it stems far beyond a career, and does not have a monetary value.
I also love to help with computer/any tech questions, email me for consultation if you live in the Tampa Bay Area Robertwlsn42@gmail.com (love working with technology/anything technological)
............will have a lot of personal reviews and "adventures" so sit back and until next time, ya'll.
